Inspiration

“Not in my house.” - Maya Angelou

I had the distinct privilege to see Maya Angelou speak at the National Museum of African American History & Culture in Washington, DC. This quote came from Angelou following a 14-year-old’s question about what she could do to fight injustice. The response was simple, direct, and marching order for me in this life.
